Stephen Peters Architects has provided full design services for various projects and clients, public and private, institutional and commercial, and residential throughout Southeast Alaska and the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. While our base is Southeast Alaska, projects have included sites in western North America, Hawaii, and other parts of the world. Our services have included project and construction management, feasibility studies, masterplans, and full architectural design services for a wide variety of new and adaptive re-use of structures. Many of our projects have included renovation and additions to Historic Properties. We utilize the best available technology for planning and the creation of solutions to our clients’ special requirements, closely monitoring design and construction concepts to ensure that the project remains within budget and future maintenance needs are within the owner’s means.
Stephen Peters' role as managing Principal brings the highest level of experience and knowledge to all phases of each project. His knowledge of local design conditions, regulatory requirements, and local projects costs helps guide the design team in the development of innovative, cost-effective concept design.
SPA' refined project management system, developed over years of experience on projects of various sizes and scope, has yielded innovative and appropriate designs that are both executed on time and within budget. Stephen will be involved for the duration of each project, from the initial start-up meeting through construction and post-construction services.
